We appreciate the need for flexibility with regard to the purchase order process and believe that it is our responsibility to adapt where possible to customers buying needs.
The lead time to dispatch is a key area and encompasses a full contract review, purchasing of materials and allows the entire manufacturing cycle to be completed including any post moulding operations. The mould tools held on site for our customers are subject to our tool maintenance program which keeps them maintained and ready to run when the press is available.
Times have changed and although some customers do still follow the traditional approach more and more want to hold less inventory stock, operate lean practises or call in what they want when they need it. This puts pressure on us as a Supplier to maintain fluidity through our systems and be pro-active in our production techniques
